Personal Foreword by “MahaPrabhuYoga” Founder Pramod Sonar (Chief Executive Coordinator):
It is truly Joy giving to establish “MahaPrabhuYoga” for glorious integral personality development and spiritual ascent of all individual personalities to have happiness, harmony, love, friendliness, compassion, peace, bliss and joy among all of us. We must live with United hearts as a friendly universal collective to enjoy divine beauty within each one of us and our surrounding nature. Divine Mother Nature is Mahaguru of us all. Guru Principle is the highest principle in the entire Cosmos without which no life and no living is possible.
My first Guru in this life is my mother Mirabai in whose womb I was nourished and developed physically, mentally and spiritually. Indeed I am the most fortunate to have saintly mother. She was also called by the name “Mothi Aai” means big hearted mother. She was very generous and kind to all. My second Guru is my father Shri Vasantrao who took utmost care of our joint family and relatives. He was ex-president of Dhule Municipal Corporation. He had devoted his whole life for social and religious development, respecting people from all walks of life and of all cast, creed and religions. He had constructed big temple of Sri Nagai Mata, near sakri, Dhule. I have learned the greatest lesson of my Life from my mother & father. To be very kind, compassionate and helpful to all. They loved us all very much. In my childhood I was taught of the mantra “Matru Devo Bhava Pitru Devo Bhava” which means revere your mother and father as God. You must revere your mother & father, who have brought you up with love, care and sacrifice.
My real Gurus are my teachers, relatives, friends and my surroundings from whom I learn most valuable lessons of life. Its nature’s arrangement to create the best environment for your overall growth i.e. physical, mental and spiritual. Learning is ongoing process of life.
Having a spiritual Guru (master) in one’s life is very important. One cannot tread on the path of spirituality without the grace of a spiritual Guru. I am the most fortunate to be a Sadhak Shishya (Disciple) of H. H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi; who is my spiritual Mahaguru. The experiences I had through my Mahaguru are beyond words & writing. I joined Sahajayoga family in October 1994. I got my initiation at Nashik and self-realization at the Lotus feet of H. H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi at Nargol, Gujarat on 5th May 1995 on the silver jubilee of Sahasrar day Puja. This day I became Dwij i.e. I was twice born. I experienced complete transformation. It was the turning point of my life. I became a true spiritual seeker of truth. for a spiritual seeker it is foremost essential to completely surrender yourself at the Lotus feet of a spiritual Guru (master); where you experience your egolessness and you dissolve yourself in complete peace, Bliss, love and joy. Hence-forth the new life begins, the new process of learning, practicing and experiencing higher dimensions of life exploring the beauty of divine nature.
In my childhood life the impact of movie Sant Dnyaneshwar was very great on my mind & heart. I liked the song “Jyot Se Jyot Jagate Chalo, Prem Ki Ganga Bahate Chalo”. Meaning as you light your lamp; embrace the nature of its divine soothing fire that does not diminish when shared with others; and let the great river of divine love flow freely with all together. The character personality of “The Great Saint Sant Dnyaneshwar” spontaneously touched my heart. In my heart I wanted to be like Sant Dnyaneshwar. He is indeed my first ideal and Sadguru in my life.
Sant Dnyaneshwar was a great Saint, poet, philosopher and MahaYogi in 13th century A.D. when he was only 16 year of the age he had written great commentary on the Bhagavad Gita about the “Great Lord Shri Krishna” known as “Dnyaneswari” and “Amrutanubhav” in Marathi language, reflecting non-dualistic Advaita Vedanta and emphasis on Yoga i.e. oneness with the all pervading divinity.
